Sounia Consults is a newly-launched decoloniality-centered curatorial practice founded by Sounia Khadraoui, a scholar and researcher working at the intersection of visual culture, representation, and critical discourse. The consultancy is committed to the development, management, and representation of North African artists and is further strengthened through collaboration with Esther Fernández, PhD, a Madrid-based literary historian and cultural critic who has held tenure-track appointments at Sarah Lawrence College and Rice University and has taught at Cornell University. Together, Sounia and Esther integrate cross-disciplinary research methodologies to advance projects grounded in conceptual rigor, decolonial inquiry, and nuanced representational strategies.
